To sell to Zetavintage, you’ll be enrolled as a member either online or in-store. This membership is a legal necessity for us to purchase from you. Rest assured, Zetavintage fully adheres to data protection laws to safeguard your information and ensure transparency regarding its usage. We will only contact you for business-related purposes or if you’ve chosen to receive emails from us.
Sell online
Sell online in just a few simple steps:
1. Submit your item for a free and fast quote.
2. Receive your quote, typically within 0-2 working days, and accept it.
3. Receive a prepaid shipping label via email.
4. Package your item and hand it to the courier.
5. Update Your Personal Information with ID details, address details, and PayPal information (this step is essential for processing).
6. Zetavintage will authenticate and purchase the item. If the final price matches or exceeds the quoted amount, your order will be processed. If the final price is lower than quoted, you will be contacted to approve the new price (with the option for us to return the item to you free of charge).
Factors Affecting Pricing:
Prices are determined based on various factors, including but not limited to:
- Manufacturer’s suggested retail price (RRP)
- Brand
- Style
- Age
- Condition
- Material
- Color
- Demand
The prices we offer are based on a predetermined margin for each designer and item type. This ensures consistency and fairness in our pricing. Brands with high desirability, such as Chanel or Hermès, typically yield the best profit margins for sellers.
Condition guide
BAGS
Zetavintage is unable to accept handbags or SLGs that exhibit the following conditions:
- Fundamental damage, such as a broken strap
- Non-functioning closures, including clasps, zippers, or buckles
- Heavy stains on the exterior material
- Missing serial stickers or unreadable serial numbers (though exceptions may apply depending on the brand)
- Lack of original designer parts, such as replaced zippers
CLOTHING
- Care label missed (though some vintage pieces may be accepted without labels)
- Exhibits stains from substances like alcohol, food, coffee, drinks, perspiration, or makeup
- Displays significant wear, including holes, rips, moth holes, pulls, puckering, or bobbling
- Sustains damage to the material from washing, ironing, or dry cleaning
- Shows signs of faded or discolored fabric
- Is stretched or hardened, particularly in materials like wool or cashmere
- Features overstretched elasticated fabric, such as on waistbands or in the crotch area
- Displays thinning fabric, such as in worn-out knees
- Emits strong odors, including smoke, perspiration, perfume, mothballs, dampness, or food
- Additionally, please ensure that clothing is washed and cleaned before selling.
FOOTWEAR
- Missing or illegible labels
- Overstretched, creased, or misshapen (depending on the area and material)
- Stained, dirty, or discolored exterior or interior (though normal wear and tear may be acceptable)
- Signs of previous use, such as sweat marks or toe stains
- Broken zippers, buckles, or other fasteners
- Strong odors, such as smoke, mothballs, sweat, dampness, or perfume
WATCHES
JEWELRY
- Have been bent out of shape
- Are missing integral components
- Are heavily scratched or worn (light wear is acceptable)
- Missing style/model number/ stamp /logo
WATCHES MUST : - Have a working battery (if battery operated)
- Be in working condition
- Not have additional holes added to buckle bracelets
- Be free from drop marks or cracked glass
Payment Options
The cash option may be provided either as a bank transfer or pay pal depending on the item’s value or demand. To opt for the bank transfer, please log in to your Zetavintage.com account and input your bank account details or pay pal details .We do not have visibility into this information, so it’s your responsibility to ensure its accuracy and currency.
Reason for item rejection
The common reasons for the rejection of an item include:
- Being a brand that we do not purchase
- Being in a subpar condition
- NOT AUTHENTIC
- Being too dated (excluding vintage items)
- Being an outlet piece (although not all outlet pieces are rejected)
- Featuring non-detachable real fur
- Being a product specific to a particular tech model, such as an older phone case
- Being deemed undesirable or unlikely to sell well by Zetavintage
If you choose not to sell your item once it’s with Zetavintage or if the item is rejected, in most cases, we will return the item to you free of charge.
Abandoned items
After the final quotation, if Zetavintage hasn’t received communication from you, your item(s) will be held for 7 days. Failure to collect the items within this timeframe will result in them being considered abandoned and potentially disposed of.
If you’ve posted your item(s) after receiving an online quote, Zetavintage will reach out to discuss the possibility of returning the goods to you at no additional cost.
